I play Medic a lot unless it’s CTF

Yeah same here! Hardly anyone ever plays Medic but after I’ve gotten used to it I’ve come to appreciate just how vital the Medic is to team function.

Also, hate on me all you want, but my medigun of choice is the Quick-Fix. I don’t mind the lack of overheal and it’s fun as hell to hitch rides on scouts and rocket-jumping soldiers. Not to mention you can deploy Ubers pretty fast that benefit everybody, not just one lousy Heavy.

ever since December I’ve been playing Medic almost exclusively.

I think there’s something profound here that I can’t be assed to pick up on.

This animosity between different groups of anarchists and libertarians is going to destroy us. Our enemy is the state, not each other. We can decide on what the post revolution world will look like later, but if we keep fighting amongst ourselves as the statists look on and laugh, we will doom the entire world to tyranny, to a dark age of empire that will linger for a thousand years that the human race may never drag itself out from under.

>decide on what the world will look like post-revolution

You’re setting yourself up for Russian Revolution of 1917 Episode II: Electric Boogaloo right there, son. The point, if you haven’t noticed, of all this infighting is precisely to determine who’s in and who’s out.

We all have drastically different definitions about what we’re against and you can’t just brush these all under the rug and call it a day. My definition of the State could be “domesticated pigs” and my definition of “coercion” could be “having sex for the purpose of procreation” and my sole desire in life could be to eliminate those two, and you’d be an absolute shit-for-brains if you said I have to work with post-left anarchists and anarcho-capitalists because “we have the same enemy” or vice versa.

The uprisings in ‘05 France, ‘08 Greece, and ‘11 London, so often cited, give us a picture of revolt on the part of youth with no hope in the future (not to say that only youth participated). Yet while moments that break with the normalized social order create the opportunity for new explorations, clearly these events do not shatter the structures of domination that compose our societies. Natural disasters, recessions and countless other events may also change the shape of our cities, regions and societies. Yet often, society-altering events in themselves may be less significant than what we create within the cracks they open.

Just tumblr saviored Chris Hedges.

I feel about 100 pounds lighter. Don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. His liberal bullshit and pandering to the “progressive” left makes me want to puke.

He wrote some lucid pieces back in the day, but I gave him the double deuce and never paid attention to him again after he wrote “The Cancer In Occupy” and had his ass kicked in a debate by a former punk-rocker over the article.
